Our team truly does sit at the heart of MSA Safety. From our head office on the edge of the New Forest, we provide a variety of health and safety training and consultancy services, all backed by an exceptional level of customer service.

The Team

Matthew Stevens
– Director

Matt is one of our two Directors and is the founder of MSA Safety. His main responsibilities include making sure the entire team takes care to look after our clients, our staff… and our marbles! Matt is also our senior CDM Consultant and a registered member of APS.

Touring in a rock’n’roll band!

My bucket list holiday destination is…
Japan – what an absolutely awesome culture of honour and respect. The rest of the would could learn a lot from them.

Alison Clover Kinna
– Director

Alison is the second Director here at MSA Safety, and when she isn’t keeping the other kids in the office under control you’ll find her managing and developing current and new business for the company. Alison has a background in HR, business development and since joining MSA in 2017 she has seen the business transform and is very proud of the team and all they have achieved.

If I weren’t in Health & Safety, I would be…
A novelist and artist, living in an old cottage overlooking the sea – with no TV!

My bucket list holiday destination is…
A remote Alaskan log cabin overlooking the mountains and lakes, because of it’s unspoilt natural landscape, breath taking vistas and restorative energy.

Bex Churchill
– Training Manager & Business Administrator

Bex is our Business Administrator and supports the business with our ongoing client management; this includes providing comprehensive CHAS, SMAS, SafeContractor and Constructionline advice and assisting training requirements and booking (from enquiry, to invoicing, to certification). She also assists with marketing campaigns and social media activity, helping get the MSA Safety message out there to as many people and businesses as possible.

If I weren’t in Health & Safety, I would be…
A popstar, obviously. 

My bucket list holiday destination is…
Japan! For the food, culture, sights, the vending machines, and so I can finally tick off another Disney Theme Park.

Darryl Jones
– Health & Safety Advisor

Darryl joined us in October 2023, and is our Health and Safety Advisor. With over 20 years of construction site experience under his belt. His main responsibilities include supporting our clients with professional health and safety advice, risk assessments, site inspections & workplace audits.

If I weren’t in Health & Safety, I would be…
A dendrologist – that sounds a bit pretentious so…  a forestry worker.

My bucket list holiday destination is…
Japan in the Spring to follow the cherry blossom trail, or the yellow mountains in China – home of the Bonsai.

Douglas Ormandy
– Health and Safety Advisor

Based in Luton, Doug has previously worked within construction project management, including Heathrow’s Terminal 5 development, and in 2006 he moved into the role of Health and Safety advisor.

When I’m not working…
You’ll find me in the gym or relaxing in the garden.
