About MSA Safety
Based in Southampton, Matthew Stevens started MS Associates in 2006, having spent many years previously working as a health and safety advisor for a large national company.
MSA Safety Ltd offer excellent health and safety experience across the sectors, with a strong emphasis on CDM Support and the Construction Industry as a whole.
The company has developed an excellent reputation over the years and has a growing loyal client base within construction, warehousing, manufacturing and commercial organisations.
MSA Safety Ltd have always offered a variety of safety training courses to its clients, but in early 2018 they were accredited as a CITB ATO (Authorised Training Organisation) and have subsequently expanded their training portfolio, which now includes:
- CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
- CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course – required for the Green CSCS Labourers Card
- CITB Refresher for SMSTS and SSSTS
Fire Warden, First Aid, Work at Height, Manual Handling, PASMA, Scaffold Inspection and Workplace Stress Management and more.
This means that MSA Safety Ltd can now offer a comprehensive health and safety service to existing and new clients a like, with a team of safety advisors and training administrators here to support them.

Meet The Team
Based from the Southampton office Matthew will be the primary point of contact and will manage the team in relation to service delivery, policy review and strategic advice. Matthew is also our senior CDM Consultant and registered member of APS.
Alison Clover Kinna
Training and Business Manager
Based in the Southampton office, Alison manages training and supports business development and offers extensive experience within HR, Training and team management, focussing on the customer experience and service.
Based in the Southampton office Rebecca brings qualifications in Business Administration and experience in the Health & Safety, training and education sectors, making her a knowledgeable and fundamental part of the team.
Health & Safety Advisor
Based in Luton, Doug previously worked within construction project management, including Heathrow’s Terminal 5 development and in 2006, he moved into the role of Health and Safety advisor.
Based in Hertfordshire, William is an expereinced and qualified advanced scaffold inspector and can often be found assessing basic and highly complex scaffold designs.
Health & Safety Advisor
Based in Rochester, Lee has worked as a SHEQ Consultant for 13 years. Lee has worked on projects such as Battersea Power Station, Chelsea Barracks and AWE Mensa.
We also have access to a small network of consultants with a wide range of expertise to call on should we require additional support and work closely with a partnering business’ to deliver training solutions.
