MSA Safety have been an ATO since 2018, meaning we successfully completed CITB’s approval process and are an organisation which provides construction training courses and qualifications to a defined and industry-agreed training standard.
What is a CITB ATO I hear you ask?
A CITB ATO, like us, is an organisation which provides construction training courses and qualifications to a defined and industry-agreed training standard and feature in the Directory.
CITB has determined which courses are eligible for grants, if you’re an employer in the construction industry you’ll want to be able to claim grants when your employees attend these courses. In order to be able to do this, you need to book your training with an ATO as in future you will not be able to claim for eligible courses delivered by companies who are not ATOs.
What does this mean for you, an Employer?
Using the Construction Training Directory, you can easily find quality training for your employees and keep track of their training and qualifications.
The process couldn’t be easier. Once your delegate has completed an approved course with us, we update the training directory with their details and automatically trigger the grant claiming process for you – you’ll have your money in no time. We will need you CITB Levy number to do this.
How much can you apply for?
Up to £10K for skills and training for CITB registered employers with up to 99 directly employed staff on the payroll. Employers can apply for funding once every 12 months.
CITB registered employers can apply for funding, related to how many direct employees they have such as:
- Employers with 1 to 49 directly employed staff can receive up to £5,000
- Employers with 50 to 74 directly employed staff can receive up to £7,500
- Employers with 75 to 99 directly employed staff can receive up to £10,000
